Mules Carry Supplies Through Helene-Ravaged North Carolina

Hurricane Helene left areas of Western North Carolina unreachable. That’s where Vader, Kev and Amigo came in. The horse and two mules helped carry relief supplies into places emergency vehicles couldn’t reach. They were part of a team at Mountain Mule Packer Ranch and Mission Mules. The three met a tragic end when they were hit by a vehicle on Feb. 9, 2025. This video was made before their deaths.
