Eastern Pacific Could See First Storm This Season

June 6, 2025

The Eastern Pacific could see their first storm of the season this week. The National Hurricane Center is watching a broad area of low pressure southwest of Mexico that will enter a more favorable environment for development in the coming days. There’s a likely chance that this will become Alvin sometime this week. As of now, the system seems to stay off the coast of Mexico, however, it could bring high swells and rip currents to Mexico’s western coast. We will continue to monitor for any changes in the forecast. Watch to see the latest forecast and potential impacts for Mexico.
