Code Red: Poor Air Quality Across Midwest, Great Lakes

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires will continue to impact air quality across the upper Midwest and Great Lakes Friday and Saturday. Air quality alerts have expanded and are in effect for the entire states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and parts of Missouri and Nebraska. Air quality could reach unhealthy levels for everyone in places like Minneapolis, Duluth, Waterloo, Fargo and Sioux Falls. Please limit time outside, especially if you have respiratory issues, keep windows closed and stay alert for poor visibility when traveling.
