Tropical Storm Andrea Forms In The Central Atlantic

The first named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season has formed in the central Atlantic. Tropical Storm Andrea is expected to be short-lived and remain far away from any land. The storm will move quickly northeastward toward the Azores, but will fizzle before getting there. On average, the first named storm of the season typically forms on June 20.
