Tracking Rain, Snow, Bitter Cold For NYE Festivities

Traveling on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day? Lake-effect snow will continue to pile up across the Great Lakes and interior portions of the Northeast, so expect delays and slow downs. It will be a cold end to 2025 across much of the Eastern U.S., so make sure you bundle up for any outdoor festivities in the Deep South as temperatures will hover in the 30s and 40s around midnight. Unfortunately California will see another wet holiday with rain moving in on New Year’s Eve and continuing into New Year’s Day.
