Spring is a battlefield between air masses. Whenever there are colliding air masses, whether cold or warm, dry or moist, there is usually some bad weather associated with it and spring can pack a punch. In the South, temps begin to warm up, but the northern part of the U.S. just doesn’t let go of the cold as easily. Heavy snow, tornadoes, flooding and wind are all things we deal with in Spring.
