Skull Canyon Ziplines offer four zipline courses high above 160 acres of natural, undisturbed mountainous terrain, just 60 minutes from Los Angeles.

Some areas of California are experiencing a superbloom due to the historically wet winter. The series of atmospheric rivers that dumped rain and snow on California for weeks this winter came after three years of drought in the state.

Superblooms often occur after a wet year that has followed several drier years. Many wildflower seeds won't germinate during the dry years, remaining dormant until conditions are favorable. Several dry years in a row offer the opportunity for more and more seeds to wait in the soil, University of California Davis plant sciences professor Jennifer Funk said in a news release. Then, when a wet season occurs, the accumulated seeds may all start to sprout at once.
