V​isited, a travel app, just published a list of the top 10 most popular castles for travelers.

T​he list was based on more than 1.7 million international Visited users. The app allows users to select different travel destinations based on experiences, inspirational photos and travel lists.

"To our surprise, Edinburg Castle, Versailles and Windsor Castle did not make it to the first place," founder and CEO of Visited, Anna Kayfitz, e​xplained, according to The Associated Press.
