1. Ibiza, Spain

Enjoy fall temperatures in the 70s and above through October and summer beach party vibes in Ibiza. Crowds will be thinner during the fall, as most tourists descend upon the region during the summer. The weather is warm enough to take a dip at the pool or lounge at the beach. There’s also plenty of hiking and adventures to be had, such as cliff jumping, paddle boarding and more.

2. Sydney, Australia

Temperatures in Australia are actually increasing from September through November as the country heads towards its summer months. Flowers will be in full bloom, and it’s an ideal time to visit the Koala Park Sanctuary, as baby koalas will be leaving their mothers’ pouches during this time of year.

3. Ilha Grande, Brazil

Just an hour outside of Rio Grande, Ilha Grande is home to some of Brazil’s most beautiful beaches. The island is mostly car-free, making it a wonderful place for pedestrians to walk and explore. There’s plenty to do for those who want to stay for days, but if you’re more of a city person, it’s easy enough to make a day trip to this island for hiking and swimming. Similar to Australia, September through November is springtime in Brazil, so you should encounter warm temperatures and sunny weather.

4. Palm Springs, California

You won’t find a beach at this gorgeous desert location. Fall temperatures in Palm Springs average in the 80s and 90s, but the air is dry, making the weather much more bearable for golfing, soaking in the city’s hot springs or hanging by the hotel’s pool. The nearby landscape offers great hiking, biking and horseback riding.
