IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Flood stage, farmland flooding begins in the Flats with some roads flooded. Minor damages to riverfront commercial properties in Dexter. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was nearly steady at 10.41 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:45 PM EDT Friday was 10.42 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 8.6 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.1 feet on 03/29/2021. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Ontario from Sodus Bay to the Saint Lawrence River. WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening. IMPACTS...Winds and/or waves will cause hazardous conditions that could capsize or damage small craft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
