A major heatwave coming for the eastern half of the country in the upcoming week is going to launch temperatures into the 90s and even 100s. Millions will be exposed to major to extreme heat risk, including major cities like Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland, Nashville and Washington, D.C. Numerous temperature records are also poised to break, both for the afternoon highs and morning lows.
