How I Got To The Weather Company

Before joining The Weather Channel, I worked at The Arena Group (which operated Sports Illustrated, TheStreet, Parade and Men’s Journal). I contributed content for reviews and product testing, gift guides, covered shopping events like Amazon Prime Day, and drafted branded and sponsored content. I was also part of the founding team at CNN Underscored.

Prior to moving to Atlanta, I lived in Florida and interned as a copy editor at Bankrate.com before joining the business team. I love reading, writing, horseback riding and spending time outdoors.

What I Love About Working For The Weather Company

Before joining The Weather Company, I only vaguely realized how much weather impacted my daily life (and shopping habits). Since joining, I've watched our meteorologists and extended content team work tirelessly to report life-saving news.

While hurricane coverage is the most essential, I prefer covering sunny day events and everyday essentials!

Core Weather Memory

Having lived in Florida for most of my life, it's the hurricanes that first come to mind. In 2004, Florida was battered by four hurricanes in six weeks, with nearly every region of FLorida impacted by one of the storms.
