Weather We’re Watching This Easter

April 20, 2025

Much of the country will experience dry weather on Easter Sunday, but severe thunderstorms could cause you to rethink your easter egg hunts, church visits and dinners if you’re in the Central U.S. Portions of Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and Illinois will need to plan their festivities around a squall line. Portions of the South will be able to spend the holiday in well-above-average temperatures, but beware, those that enjoy the warmth in the Northeast on Saturday will be cooler and closer to average at the end of the weekend. Temps could feel cool behind the storms in the Plains while a mixed bag of temperatures is likely across the West.
