When you find an unusual mole or skin growth, the typical process of checking it for skin cancer is to scrape it off and test a sample for biopsy. Now, researchers at Stanford Medicine say a noninvasive “virtual biopsy” may be able to render the same results using lasers and artificial intelligence.
