Why Slow-Moving Tropical Storms, Hurricanes Are The Worst

We all know somebody who just won’t move on. But turn that somebody into a tropical storm or hurricane, and it can become outright dangerous. Sluggish storms, no matter their category, can drop feet of rainfall and prolong exposure to storm surge and gusty winds. The longer a storm drags on, the more likely damage is to homes, structures and coastlines.
