Hurricane Erin Passing Just East Of Turks & Caicos, Bahamas

Major Hurricane Erin is a very large hurricane passing just east of the Turks and Caicos and southeast Bahamas Monday and Tuesday. Tropical storm warnings are in effect for the Turks and Caicos and parts of the Bahamas. Coastal flooding, along with 2-4 inches of rain, possibly up to 6, look likely across the islands. Large waves and life-threatening rip currents will impact the East Coast of the U.S. all week long.
