Tropical Storm Imelda continues to strengthen as it pushes across the islands of the Bahamas Monday. Humberto will help Imelda take a sharp right turn away from the U.S. Tuesday. Persistent onshore winds could produce minor coastal flooding while rough surf and dangerous waves will lead to a high risk for rip currents all week long. Imelda is still forecast to become a hurricane Tuesday, potentially tracking very close to Bermuda Wednesday and Thursday. Here’s the latest.
