NHC: Gabrielle Forecast To Become Major Hurricane Tonight

Hurricane Gabrielle continues to strengthen and is forecast to become a major hurricane as the center passes east of Bermuda tonight. Large swells are already affecting Bermuda and the U.S. East Coast from North Carolina northward. A high rip current risk will continue through Tuesday, so it’s best to avoid swimming at the beaches.
