NHC Tracking Invests 93L, 94L; Development Odds Increasing

The National Hurricane Center has now designated the two tropical waves in the Atlantic as Invest 93L and Invest 94L. Invest 93L, the easternmost wave, will likely develop into a tropical depression first, potentially by Thursday or Friday. Invest 94L is the wave we are more concerned about as any U.S. impacts are uncertain at this time. This wave is bringing gusty winds and heavy rain to the Windward and Leeward islands and will impact Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands Tuesday night into Wednesday. Slow development is possible and a tropical depression could form near the Bahamas later this week. The next names on the list are Humberto and Imelda. Watch this video for the latest update.
