Clouds May Block New York's Manhattanhenge Sunset

Twice each year, in June and July, the setting sun aligns precisely with the Manhattan street grid, creating Manhattanhenge. Rain and clouds may block Wednesday's viewing, if so, check back on Thursday to see if sunset stretches through the city grid of New York. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the alignment will again take place on July 11 and July 12, 2025, at sunset.
