Disturbance Near Texas Could Become Tropical Depression

Erin isn’t the only area we’re watching in the Atlantic Basin. A little closer to home, there’s a disturbance in the southwestern Gulf that’s being monitored by the National Hurricane Center. It’s been designated Invest 98L and could move over southern Texas later today. Regardless of development, locally heavy rain and flash flooding are possible.
