Tropical Storm Humberto has officially formed in the Atlantic from one of the interest areas being watched by the National Hurricane Center. The storm is not expected to directly impact the U.S. mainland, but large swells and strong rip currents could impact the East Coast this week. Bermuda is closer to the path of the storm, so it could get a more direct impact with potential heavy rain and strong winds. The storm is likely to reach hurricane strength this weekend. Imelda hasn’t been named at this time, but Invest 94L is bringing rain and winds to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Here's the latest.
