Britain’s largest thermal spring is being drained for its annual spring cleaning operation.

The Roman Baths located in Bath, England is a heritage site of one of the best-preserved Roman spas of the ancient world. The Great Bath, which is the main attraction of the complex, is a filled with geothermally heated water.

Every year, the Bath and North East Somerset Council employees clean the bath of algae and sludge from the lead-lined floor. The bath holds over 66,000 gallons of water, all of which is drained. In previous years of cleaning, items like traffic cones, shopping carts and even a moped were discovered in the bath.
