After formally beginning my writing career in 2017 as a freelance journalist, my interest in public health communication led me to the specialized field of written weather communication. As a freelance writer, I have published work under my byline for notable organizations including New Mexico Magazine, Out Magazine, GLAAD, Dell Technologies and others.

Based in New York City but hailing from New Mexico — a state I remember for its dramatic weather patterns — my personal experiences with dust storms, the snow-capped Rockies and rapid temperature changes at high altitudes have deeply influenced the way I view the power of the natural world. These experiences fuel my passion for exploring and explaining the dynamic world of weather.
